League III Terms and Conditions

Southeast Throwdown: The League III
Effective Date: 08/13/2025

1. General Provisions
1.1. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in Southeast Throwdown: The League III (hereinafter referred to as "The League"), organized by Southeast Throwdown.
1.2. By registering for and participating in The League, players ("Participants") agree to comply with these Terms, all applicable laws, and the rules of fair competition.
1.3. Southeast Throwdown reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate The League at its sole discretion. Changes will be communicated via official channels.

2. Eligibility
2.1. The League is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Participants must be at least 13 years of age. Participants under 18 must provide parental or guardian consent.

  • Participants must reside in a region eligible for the tournament. Specific restrictions may apply based on regional laws.

  • Participants must have access to the game platform, necessary hardware, and a stable internet connection.

3. Registration
3.1. Participants must complete the official registration form through the designated platform by the deadline.
3.2. Registration fees, if applicable, must be paid in full before participation is confirmed.
3.3. By registering, Participants affirm that all provided information is accurate and agree to receive communications regarding The League.

4. Competition Structure
4.1. Format: The League comprises a series of online tournaments where participants earn points based on performance.
4.2. Points System: Points are awarded to the top 8 finishers in each tournament according to the official point allocation system.
4.3. Standings: Overall standings will be determined by cumulative points across all tournaments in The League.
4.4. Tie-Breakers: In the event of a tie in standings, tie-breaker matches may be conducted as determined by the organizers.

5. Prizes and Awards
5.1. The overall winner of The League will receive a sponsored flight and registration to 3rd Strike Open 2025.
5.2. Additional prizes, if any, will be announced via official Southeast Throwdown channels.
5.3. Prizes are non-transferable, and Southeast Throwdown is not responsible for any tax obligations incurred by the winners.

6. Code of Conduct
6.1. Participants are expected to uphold principles of respect, fairness, and sportsmanship at all times.
6.2. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Harassment, abuse, or offensive language toward other players, organizers, or spectators.

  • Cheating, including but not limited to, using unauthorized software, exploiting glitches, or colluding with other players.

  • Any actions that violate local laws or disrupt the integrity of the competition.
    6.3. Violations may result in penalties, including disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, or bans from future events.

7. Technical Issues and Match Disputes
7.1. Participants are responsible for ensuring the functionality of their equipment and internet connection.
7.2. Technical disruptions during matches will be reviewed by organizers, but Southeast Throwdown is not liable for personal or third-party failures.
7.3. Match disputes must be submitted within 24 hours of the conclusion of the match. The organizers’ decision regarding disputes is final.

8. Liability Disclaimer
8.1. Southeast Throwdown and its affiliates are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damages incurred as a result of participation in The League.
8.2. By participating, Participants agree to indemnify and hold Southeast Throwdown harmless from any claims arising out of their actions or omissions during The League.

9. Intellectual Property
9.1. Participants grant Southeast Throwdown the right to use their name, likeness, gameplay footage, and other materials related to The League for promotional and marketing purposes.
9.2. All intellectual property rights associated with The League are owned by Southeast Throwdown.

10. Amendments and Termination
10.1. Southeast Throwdown reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be effective immediately upon publication via official channels.
10.2. Southeast Throwdown may terminate The League in whole or in part for reasons including but not limited to unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, or violations of these Terms.
