Southeast Throwdown: The League IV

1. General Provisions

1.1. These Terms and Conditions, referred to as the Terms, govern participation in Southeast Throwdown: The League IV, referred to as The League, organized by Southeast Throwdown.

1.2. By registering for and participating in The League, players, referred to as Participants, agree to comply with these Terms, all applicable laws, and the rules of fair competition.

1.3. Southeast Throwdown reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate The League at its sole discretion. Any changes will be communicated through official Southeast Throwdown channels.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The League is open to individuals who meet the following requirements:

Participants must be at least 13 years of age. Participants under 18 years of age must provide consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Participants must reside in a region that is eligible for the tournament. Specific restrictions may apply based on regional laws.

Participants must have access to the required game platform, necessary hardware, and a stable internet connection.

3. Registration

3.1. Participants must complete the official registration process through the designated platform before the stated deadline.

3.2. Registration fees, if applicable, must be paid in full before participation is confirmed.

3.3. By registering, Participants confirm that all provided information is accurate and agree to receive communications regarding The League.

4. Competition Structure

4.1. Format

The League consists of a series of online tournaments where Participants earn points based on their performance.

4.2. Points System

Points are awarded to the top eight finishers in each tournament according to the official point allocation system.

4.3. Standings

Overall standings will be determined by the cumulative points earned across all tournaments in The League.

4.4. Tiebreakers

If two or more Participants are tied in the standings, tiebreaker matches or other procedures may be used as determined by the organizers.

5. Prizes and Awards

5.1. The overall winner of The League will receive a flight stipend of up to $400 to help cover airfare to 3rd Strike Open 2026.

5.2. The stipend may only be used toward eligible airfare expenses associated with attending 3rd Strike Open 2026. The winner may be required to provide receipts, travel confirmation, or other documentation requested by Southeast Throwdown.

5.3. Any airfare costs exceeding $400, along with lodging, meals, local transportation, baggage fees, registration fees, and other travel expenses, are the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise announced by Southeast Throwdown.

5.4. If the winner is unable or unwilling to attend 3rd Strike Open 2026, the flight stipend may be forfeited. Southeast Throwdown may offer the stipend to the next eligible Participant in the final standings at its sole discretion.

5.5. Additional prizes, if any, will be announced through official Southeast Throwdown channels.

5.6. Prizes may not be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash unless approved by Southeast Throwdown. Southeast Throwdown is not responsible for any tax obligations incurred by a winner.

6. Code of Conduct

6.1. Participants are expected to uphold the principles of respect, fairness, and sportsmanship at all times.

6.2. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

Harassment, abuse, threats, discrimination, or offensive language directed toward players, organizers, spectators, or other community members.

Cheating, including the use of unauthorized software, intentional exploitation of glitches, match manipulation, or collusion with other players.

Any action that violates applicable laws or disrupts the integrity of the competition.

6.3. Violations may result in penalties including match forfeiture, point deductions, disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, or exclusion from future Southeast Throwdown events.

7. Technical Issues and Match Disputes

7.1. Participants are responsible for ensuring that their equipment and internet connection function properly.

7.2. Technical disruptions during matches will be reviewed by the organizers. Southeast Throwdown is not responsible for failures involving a Participant’s equipment, internet connection, game platform, or other outside service.

7.3. Match disputes must be submitted within 24 hours after the conclusion of the disputed match. Decisions made by the organizers regarding match disputes are final.

8. Liability Disclaimer

8.1. Southeast Throwdown and its affiliates are not responsible for any loss, injury, expense, or damage resulting from participation in The League or travel associated with any prize.

8.2. By participating, Participants agree to indemnify and hold Southeast Throwdown harmless from claims arising from their actions or omissions during The League.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. Participants grant Southeast Throwdown permission to use their name, likeness, gameplay footage, voice, and other materials related to The League for promotional, broadcast, archival, and marketing purposes.

9.2. All intellectual property rights associated with The League are owned by Southeast Throwdown or their respective rights holders.

10. Amendments and Termination

10.1. Southeast Throwdown reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates become effective when published through official Southeast Throwdown channels.

10.2. Southeast Throwdown may terminate, postpone, or modify The League in whole or in part because of unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, safety concerns, legal requirements, or violations of these Terms.
